Job summary

DENSO in Maryville, TN, seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the electrical distribution system at DMTN. The role leads construction projects, reviews submittals, and ensures equipment meets Facilities standards and safety requirements.

The engineer will guide Facilities and Production Maintenance, manage budgets and schedules, perform arc flash analysis, and update CAD drawings as needed. Strong project management and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
FE certification completed for Electrical or general engineering.
3 years minimum equivalent work experience in manufacturing or electrical design.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic schedule creation.
Basic checkbook balancing.
Use of software to perform coordination studies/arc flash analysis on distribution system.

Responsibilities

Oversee safety on active CIP projects pertaining to the electrical distribution system.
Open communication with interested parties and stakeholders on active CIP projects.
Project management of active construction.
Budget.
Schedule.
Time keeping.
Day to Day issues.
Weekly progress meetings.
Punch list creation.
Provide guidance and support for other active construction projects on campus, including drawing review and specification review/editing.
