Job summary

PetIQ seeks a Facility and EHS Manager in Utah to ensure the facility passes audits and maintains compliance with OSHA/UOSH, SQF, and PetIQ requirements. The role oversees mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems, manages staff and vendors, and leads emergency planning.

You will manage budgets, capital projects, and safety programs, promoting a safe and healthy workplace while ensuring regulatory adherence and documentation retention.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal/external customers.
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented and able to coordinate cross-functional efforts.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance: mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire systems, security, grounds, and forklifts.
• Schedule work and set priorities; manage internal staff and contractors.
• Coordinate with vendors and outside services; manage landscape contracts.
• Lead emergency planning and OSHA/UOSH compliance programs.
• Maintain building to meet internal, landlord, and SQF standards; participate in capital projects.
• Prepare budgets and review monthly expenditures; support safety initiatives.
• Lead the Safety Compliance Committee and ensure documentation is retained.
