MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV invites you to join as a Facilities Dispatcher to support daily operations of Facilities and Engineering and help maintain a safe, efficient environment for guests and staff. You will coordinate maintenance requests, monitor life safety systems, dispatch crews for emergencies and daily needs, and serve as a central communication point across departments.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• 6+ months of prior relevant experience in hospitality or a similar environment.
• Experience in hotel, resort, or casino operations, dispatch, facilities, or engineering support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, inquiries and requests, prioritizing based on urgency.
• Dispatch and coordinate Facilities and Engineering personnel for emergencies and daily operations.
• Monitor life safety and facility systems and respond to alarms per safety protocols.
• Operate two-way radios, phones and other systems to relay critical information between departments.
• Use HotSOS, Amadeus and other systems to create, assign, update and track work orders.
• Communicate updates on service requests and work orders and maintain dispatch logs.

THE JOB:

As a Facilities Dispatcher, you will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of our Facilities and Engineering departments while helping maintain a safe and efficient environment for our guests and employees. In this role, you will coordinate maintenance requests, monitor facility and life safety systems, and serve as a central point of communication between departments and maintenance personnel. Your attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize requests will help ensure timely responses to operational needs, maintenance concerns, and emergency situations.

THE STARTING RATE: $21

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Monitor and respond to incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, departmental inquiries, and requests for assistance, ensuring incidents and service requests are accurately documented and prioritized based on urgency
• Dispatch and coordinate Facilities and Engineering personnel in response to emergencies, maintenance requests, and daily operational needs
• Monitor Fire & Life Safety and facility management systems, responding to alarms and emergency notifications in accordance with established safety procedures and emergency response protocols
• Operate two-way radios, telephones, and other communication systems to relay critical information and coordinate responses between Facilities, Security, emergency responders, management, and other departments
• Utilize HotSOS, Amadeus, and other departmental systems to create, assign, update, and track work orders, identify duplicate requests, and maintain accurate service records
• Communicate updates on service requests, work order statuses, and pending maintenance issues, collaborating with Facilities leadership, Engineering personnel, and other departments to ensure timely follow-up
• Maintain accurate, real-time dispatch logs and records of communications, incidents, emergencies, and daily activities to support departmental reporting and operational continuity

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 6+ months of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment required
• Previous experience in hotel, resort, or casino operations, dispatch, Facilities, Engineering, administrative support, or a related field
