Job summary

Summit Point, a Sonida Senior Living community in Macedonia, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead all facilities and safety operations for our Independent Living and Assisted Living environments. You’ll oversee grounds, repairs, equipment maintenance, move-in refurbishments, and compliance with state regulations, ensuring a safe, welcoming setting for residents.

You will collaborate with team members, train staff, and implement preventive maintenance plans while harnessing advanced

Qualifications

Experience in maintenance preferred.
Familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
