Job summary

Clearwater Living Beaverton invites a Maintenance Director to lead the Environmental Services department, ensuring the community's grounds, buildings and resident living spaces are safe, functional and inviting.

You'll oversee daily operations, supervise maintenance staff, manage budgets, coordinate with vendors, enforce safety and regulatory compliance, and support a culture of high service standards for residents and associates.

Qualifications

• AA degree or Bachelor’s preferred or related supervisory experience in senior living or hospitality.
• Minimum five to seven years of maintenance experience in senior living, property management or related field.
• Minimum two to three years of supervisory experience with budget management.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Background clearances as required by regulations; TB health requirements.
• Must meet health requirements and be able to manage safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Maintenance Assistants in Environmental Services.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and equipment for safety and readiness.
• Plan, organize, and direct Environmental Services programs and staff.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate staff; ensure safety and attire standards.
• Develop maintenance standards and manage departmental budget and expenditures.
• Coordinate with vendors, secure bids, and schedule repairs; track projects.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and emergency preparedness; educate staff on OSHA and safety.
• Assist maintenance staff and step in as needed to maintain operations.
