Job summary

Pueblo City-County Library District in Pueblo, CO seeks a Director of Facilities, Safety & Library Support to lead facilities operations across PCCLD sites, manage budgets, oversee projects, and ensure safe, accessible public spaces.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related field and at least five years of progressive facilities leadership, with strong vendor management, safety compliance, and experience with building systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, construction management or related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in facilities operations, building maintenance, construction management or property management, with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of safety, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, budgets and oversees all projects related to PCCLD facilities and grounds including construction, remodel and reconfiguration projects, landscaping, and facility & grounds maintenance.
• Develops plans and specifications for projects; reads blueprints; coordinates bids and contractors; directs and monitors work.
• Supervises Facilities Department employees and evaluates personnel; administers long-range budgeting and planning for building maintenance.
• Coordinates long-range budgeting and planning affecting building maintenance program and staffing.
• Ensures compliance with ADA, OSHA, building codes, fire codes and environmental health standards.
