Job summary

BGCSF seeks a Facilities Director to oversee eight Clubhouses and a six-school network, ensuring safe, functional facilities across San Francisco. The role combines hands-on maintenance with project management, budget oversight, and vendor coordination.

You will lead two maintenance staff, manage a 20-vehicle fleet, and partner with the VP of Club Services and CFO to keep projects on time and on budget. Occasional after-hours work is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of facilities management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety, and roofing).
• Experience leading a maintenance team and managing vendors.
• Ability to read budgets and use spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee two maintenance staff and a 20-vehicle fleet.
• Manage vendor contracts, schedules, and budgets.
• Plan work across project management, maintenance, and admin.
• Conduct facility audits and safety inspections.
• Maintain records in the online maintenance system and vehicle inventories.
