Job summary

Villa Sport in Redwood City, CA is seeking a Facilities Director to lead club maintenance, building systems, and renovation projects, delivering five-star service in a high-performance culture.

You will manage personnel, schedule nights and weekends, ensure safety and cleanliness, and drive cost controls with a focus on member experience; two+ years in a similar role and relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Facilities Director or Chief Engineer in a similar standard operation.
• Hands-on experience as Maintenance Technician or skilled trades.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and carpentry basics.
• Proven customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities; read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead club facilities maintenance, repair, and renovation projects.
• Oversee building systems and safety compliance across locations.
• Manage personnel, scheduling, and vendor relationships to support operations.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and member experience across clubs.
