Job summary

The Neighborhood at Decatur is seeking a Facilities Director to join their team. The role reports to the Executive Director and leads the facilities management function, including maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and security as appropriate.

The position requires hands-on oversight of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, with strong vendor coordination and budget experience. Candidates must be able to respond to emergencies and manage staff effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years supervisory/management experience.
• Three years facilities experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge.
• Valid driver's license (if applicable).
• Water heat source pumps experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and managing large projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead facilities management including maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and security as applicable.
• Oversee repairs and coordinate with contractors and Phoenix resources.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety and compliance.
• Monitor maintenance requests and budget data; report to leadership.
• Train, supervise staff and participate in regular leadership meetings.
