Qualifications

• Iowa Driver’s License required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Boiler certification within first year of employment.
• Mechanical aptitude and custodial knowledge.
• Ability to exercise good judgement and prioritize tasks.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel for safety inspections.

Responsabilités

• Care for buildings and grounds across county facilities.
• Maintain boilers and campus grounds including snow removal.
• Oversee maintenance staff and safety programs.
• Prepare and manage annual budget for buildings and grounds.
• Communicate via phone, radio, email and computer.
• Coordinate with county departments and lead Safety Committee.
