Job summary

PATH Enterprises is seeking a dedicated Janitor for the West Carson Villas Office in Los Angeles, CA 90502. The role involves upkeep of facilities, detailed turnover cleaning, and maintaining safety standards under supervision.

You will support other staff, respond to requests, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule, with a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork across PATH Enterprises' properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two (2) years of multi-family apartment janitorial experience preferred.
• All levels of experience and education welcome.
• Employment eligibility verification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain upkeep of the facility including grounds, common areas, elevators, dumpsters and trash areas.
• Perform detailed cleaning of apartment turnovers (refrigerators, ovens, counters, sinks, floors, walls and windows).
• Clean common area floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming; steam-clean carpets if needed.
• Inspect facilities for safety compliance and ensure safe work practices.
• Keep maintenance shop and storage areas neat and organized; service restrooms.
• Remove graffiti promptly and use pressure washer for hard surface cleaning as scheduled.
• Assist team with coverage for other buildings as needed.
• Respond to tickets and requests, escalating when outside of timeframes or scope.
• Report emergency/safety issues promptly and follow up.
• Remain on-call per scheduled rotation.
