Job summary

Atlantic Alumina Company is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain cleanliness of all office buildings, including restrooms, floors, walls and windows. You will perform routine cleaning tasks and ensure a safe, orderly environment for staff and visitors.

Duties include stocking cleaning supplies, reporting maintenance needs, and assisting with light custodial duties. A high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read and write in English are preferred; job requires constant standing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (able to read and write in English)

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas, showers, washbasins, toilets, mirrors, floors and walls with brooms, mops, soap, and other cleaning materials.
• Performs cleaning duties such as waxing floors, emptying trash cans and waste baskets. Dusts desks, furniture, equipment, and washes and cleans windows.
• Sweeps walkways and surrounding areas of building as required.
• Keeps the work area clean and orderly.
• Reports necessary maintenance items in a timely manner; Place orders for cleaning supplies.
• Other duties as assigned
