Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, Inc. in Selma, Alabama is seeking a Custodian/Janitorial to maintain clean, safe facilities for employees and visitors.

The role includes routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic tasks, with responsibilities spanning trash collection, surface cleaning, supply replenishment, and adherence to safety policies. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and prior custodial experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Focus, communicate, encourage and contribute to Safety in all aspects of the job and all company meetings.
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
• Follow cleaning schedules and checklists
• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Support special cleaning projects or events as assigned
• Maintain a clean and organized supply/storage area
