Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Janitor to join our team in Hawthorne, Nevada, to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The role involves performing a variety of standard janitorial duties inside and outside of assigned buildings, including housing and barracks areas, and supporting base operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, floors, windows, and interior surfaces; using appropriate cleaning agents; and ensuring safety, compliance, and timely supply management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain HWAD site access and be a US citizen or permanent resident.
• Willing to work overtime and wear PPE.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to operate a computerized terminal and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day janitorial duties inside and outside buildings.
• Cleans restrooms, floors, windows, and interior surfaces.
• Maintains housing and barracks cleanliness prior to occupancy.
• Follows Safety Data Sheet guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Reports safety and environmental concerns and maintains supplies.
