Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in custodial services or related training.
• Two years custodial/building maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required prior to hire date.
• Ability to work independently and follow written/oral instructions.
• Ability to communicate with the public and coworkers; basic computer skills.
• Must pass a background investigation and medical clearance for respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms and windows.
• Execute grounds maintenance: mowing, snow removal, landscaping.
• Handle minor maintenance: doors/locks, lighting, plumbing tasks.
• Start up and shut down equipment per supervisor instructions.
• Support County Safety program and safety drills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
