Job summary

Wesley Community Center is seeking a part-time Custodian/Maintenance Worker to handle cleaning, basic repairs, and facility upkeep across the site and co-op buildings. The role includes moving furniture, setting up for events, and adhering to safety and security policies.

The position requires 1–2 years of related experience and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working around HVAC systems and electrical components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written/oral instructions.
• Comfort with physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean Wesley Community Center facilities and vehicles; perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Monitor building conditions; report issues to supervisor and follow safety procedures.
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing tasks within license and job description details.
