State of South Carolina is seeking a custodial and maintenance assistant for the Army Aviation Support Facility #2 and FMS at Donaldson Center in Greenville. You will perform routine custodial tasks, assist in maintaining building systems, and supervise part-time/contract staff as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma and a valid SC driver’s license. You must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift up to 40 lbs, and work in varied conditions including hot, noisy, or confined

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and stand for long periods.
• Able to climb and work from ladders, stairs, and scaffolding.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Able to work in hot, hazardous, and noisy locations and in adverse weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Custodial and general maintenance duties at Army Aviation Support Facility #2 and FMS at Donaldson Center.
• Performs routine custodial work and assists in maintenance of building systems.
• Supervises part-time and contract custodial work as required.
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, refills dispensers, washes walls, toilets and urinals.
• Cleans mirrors, countertops, and cabinets per manufacturer instructions for chemicals and supplies.
• Assists maintenance supervisor with routine maintenance of building systems including lamp replacements and minor plumbing repairs.
• Assists with minor repairs and adjustments to doors, door hardware, closers and egress devices.
• Operates buffer safely and follows proper chemical disposal procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of techniques, equipment, and procedures for floor maintenance.
