Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks a Building Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across facilities. You will clean floors, restrooms, windows, and perform minor maintenance; some shifts outdoors, including nights/weekends, may apply.

Requires HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years in building maintenance; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; capable of working independently or with a team while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 17 years of age with a HS diploma or GED or currently enrolled in HS; ability to work outdoors and across shifts.
• Preferred: HS diploma with 1–2 years janitorial/building maintenance experience; ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Use cleaning supplies and equipment to keep interior and exterior of the building clean and professional.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks based on a facility schedule.
• Adhere to safety policies to create a safe work environment.
• Maintain user manuals for cleaning equipment and fixtures.
• Respond to assembly and repair requests promptly and professionally.
