Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in custodial, housekeeping, grounds keeping, or food service work.

Responsibilities

• Cleans lobbies, bathrooms, hallways, meeting rooms, billiards area, and administrative area of the union by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and polishing.
• Sets up and breaks down daily events in meeting rooms, lobbies, ballrooms, and exterior grounds.
• Cleans, strips, waxes, and polishes floors using industrial-sized mops and floor machines; maintains floor equipment.
• Empties trash and recycling, decontaminates waste containers, and follows proper disposal procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Building Services supervisors, managers, or other administrative personnel.
