Job summary

Lake County is seeking a custodian/grounds keeper to provide cleaning and grounds maintenance for county facilities. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, walls, ceilings, and furniture; cleaning bathrooms and elevators; recycling; maintaining custodial supplies; performing minor maintenance and repair; as well as maintaining other parts of the buildings and grounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Must meet essential physical requirements of the position.
