Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites. The role requires flexibility to meet varied client specifications and regular cleaning tasks.

Compensation is $16 per hour with Mon-Sun 6a-11a, paid weekly. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering steady work with room to grow within Diversified Maintenance, a leader in facilities services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or six months janitorial experience
• On-the-job training will be provided
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions effectively

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash cans and use of a compactor for suitable materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers
• Other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs
