Job summary

Oak View Group in Maryland Heights is seeking a Custodial Staff member to maintain cleanliness of public spaces, offices, and facilities during events and daily operations. You will follow a routine cleaning checklist, operate cleaning equipment, and provide friendly customer service to internal and external clients.

Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required. This part-time role offers a 16–18 USD hourly rate and benefits for part-time staff, with open until Dec 4,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with cleaning equipment such as buffers/burnishers, scrubbers, blowers, and vacuums is a plus.
• Must be friendly and welcoming.
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on events, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Confer daily with Operations Manager/Supervisor on Duty to review and receive assignments.
• Daily custodial duties including cleaning of public spaces, offices, locker rooms, restrooms, exterior grounds, etc.
• Operate from a routine checklist, including dusting, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, restocking, cleaning glass, and operating cleaning equipment.
• Follow basic instructions and directions.
• Work with basic cleaning chemicals to clean public spaces.
• Operate equipment such as buffers/burnishers, scrubbers, blowers, vacuums, and others as needed.
• Keep facilities clean & beautiful by regularly checking public spaces and reporting needed repairs.
• Assist other department personnel as deemed necessary.
• Carry a radio to communicate event needs with others.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
