Job summary

Loudoun County is seeking a full-time Custodian/Maintenance Worker for the Ashburn Recreation & Community Center. The role entails setting up and breaking down events, cleaning indoor and outdoor spaces, waste management, and general maintenance tasks at the assigned location.

Ideal candidates will show strong communication, customer service, time management, and adaptability, and have a valid driver’s license with background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Six months of related work experience or equivalent education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down events, including table and chair arrangement.
• Perform indoor and outdoor cleaning, waste management, and general housekeeping.
• Operate outdoor maintenance equipment safely and assist with snow/ice removal.
• Assist with emergency response and transport vehicles as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and communicate with customers and staff.
