Job summary

Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center (MACST) is seeking an experienced custodian/housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, event spaces, restrooms, elevators and stairways.

The role requires flexible availability including evenings and weekends, and the ability to communicate with the team via two-way radio while upholding safety practices and professional conduct to support a clean, welcoming facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3-5 years custodian or housekeeping experience.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, event spaces, restrooms, elevators and stairways.
• Maintain professional attire, image, and demeanor at all times.
• Duties may vary under supervision and can change with notice.
• Build and maintain working relationships with Authority employees, contractors, and clients.
• Clean floors (vacuuming, sweeping, etc.).
• Communicate by two-way radio.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Perform other duties as requested.
