Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations and methods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices (MSDS).
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• High dusting around the room using a high duster, cleaning surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing surfaces below shoulder height and spot cleaning fingerprints and windows.
• Bathroom cleaning in specified order using germicidal solutions.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Floor cleaning with dust mop and vacuuming, including under furniture.
• Grounds care and outdoor cleaning tasks as described.
• Maintain and clean public common areas and food court as directed.
• Inspect room after cleaning and ensure proper furniture placement.
• Provide courteous customer service and report issues to supervisor.
