Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking entry-level staff for facilities services, performing custodial, building and grounds maintenance, and light labor tasks. Duties include trash collection, mowing, light repairs, and operating small equipment to support daily school operations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
Experience with basic custodial maintenance is a plus.
Ability to perform manual labor tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Performs manual labor: emptying trash, sweeping, moving furniture, and setting up equipment.
Responds to internal requests and emergencies to ensure student and staff safety.
Maintains facilities, vehicles, and equipment; performs simple repairs and preventive maintenance.
Notifies supervisors of required facility or equipment repairs.
Assists in routine grounds maintenance: trash pickup, sidewalk cleaning, weed control.
