Job summary

Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN, is seeking a Custodian I to maintain clean and orderly facilities on a Mon-Fri 4AM-Noon schedule. The role executes basic custodial tasks across hallways, labs, offices, and residential facilities. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, labs, office spaces and residential facilities.
• Dusts and/or polishes furniture.
• Maintains hard floors by scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and refinishing.
• Cleans restrooms and stocks restroom supplies.
• Empties tenants' trash and garbage containers and processes recycle materials.
• Notifies management concerning need for repairs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
