Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Custodian for Facility Operations at Indiana University Bloomington. This role requires cleaning floors, servicing restrooms, and maintaining campus facilities. A high school education and custodial experience are preferred. The position offers a salary of $16.23 per hour and comprehensive benefits including medical and dental insurance.

Shifts are Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The ideal candidate must demonstrate professionalism and reliability in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform work that requires medium to heavy physical effort.

Responsibilities

• Cleans floors, ramps, and stairs.
• Locks, unlocks, and secures buildings.
• Assists with snow removal activities as necessary.

Skills

Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
