Job summary

Sandia Resort & Casino is seeking a custodial team member to perform the overall custodial functions and cleanliness of Pueblo of Sandia facilities under supervision, including heavy cleaning and restroom sanitation.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to train new team members; requires High School Diploma or GED and a valid New Mexico driver’s license, with background checks and drug testing as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Preferred custodial experience.
• Valid New Mexico driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties: dusting, vacuuming, trash disposal, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, windows and carpets.
• Follow Facilities SOPs and safety rules; reports equipment repairs.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and support Public Works as needed.
• Mentor new custodial staff during probationary period.
• Occasionally perform hard floor stripping, waxing, sealing and buffing.
