Job summary

CRV Electronics Corporation in Spring Grove, IL seeks a Custodian to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe facility. Reports to the Manufacturing Services Supervisor and performs routine cleaning and maintenance to support operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking washrooms, vehicle cleaning, outdoor maintenance, reporting hazards, and other duties to keep the site orderly and compliant with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping roles is preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capability to work efficiently under occasional time constraints.
• Must demonstrate reliability and a commitment to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Follow all work rules, safety guidelines, and procedures.
• Clean and maintain assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows and removing trash.
• Clean and stock washrooms by replacing paper products and replenishing supplies.
• Clean company vehicles as assigned.
• Remove cardboard and debris, ensuring the facility is orderly.
• Maintain outdoor areas by shoveling, salting entrances, and picking up litter.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Manufacturing Services Supervisor.
• Other related duties as assigned to support the maintenance of the facility.
