Sutter County Human Resources is seeking a Custodian to join the Department of General Services. Under general supervision, you will maintain county buildings in a clean, orderly and safe condition and monitor a building as a watch person.

Duties include cleaning, disinfecting offices and restrooms, setting up rooms for meetings, reporting repairs, replenishing supplies, and ensuring doors and windows are secured.

Competenze

• Previous janitorial or custodial work is desirable.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Willingness to work with cleaning agents safely.

Mansioni

• Maintain buildings in a clean, orderly condition; clean, disinfect, wax, mop floors; wash walls/windows; service restrooms; empty and clean waste receptacles; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Maintain and store tools and equipment used daily.
• Rearrange room furniture; set up facilities for meetings as needed.
• Monitor for trespassers, fire or equipment malfunction; secure doors/windows.
• Report needed repairs; replenish work materials as needed.
