GEO Corrections & Detentions is seeking a full-time Facilities Cleaner to maintain a safe, clean environment at our Louisiana facility. The role requires attention to health and safety standards and the ability to perform basic repairs and grounds maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, safety inspections, inventory of supplies, and proper handling of chemicals with training provided. This is an on-site position with benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Experience in use of industrial machinery and knowledge of common janitorial practices and procedures used.
• Must be in good physical condition.

Responsibilities

• Make sure the facility is cleaned according to health and safety standards.
• Inspect the facility and grounds daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct weekly inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain proper handling of chemicals/hazardous materials.
• Maintain a safe working environment and attend safety awareness training.
• You may also make basic minor repairs and take care of trees, shrubs, and lawns.
