Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Arkansa is seeking a custodian to perform routine cleaning and basic labor tasks across break rooms, restrooms, windows, and other areas. You will move furniture, operate floor care equipment, and maintain a safe, clean environment in line with ACE values.

The role requires a High School level education with 0–6 months of related experience, plus the ability to follow written and oral instructions and observe safety rules in dusty and cold conditions.

Qualifications

• 0–6 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to observe safety rules.
• Ability to work in dusty, dirty, wet, and cold conditions.
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to handling heavy equipment, furniture, and supplies.
• Safety and chemical handling guidelines must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, cleans bathrooms, windows, and dusts daily.
• Move furniture and equipment to clean floors.
• Operates floor care machinery such as vacuums and extractors.
• Follows safety practices and procedures.
• Maintains machinery and cleaning equipment.
• Adheres to safety and label instructions with chemicals used in duties.
• Perform other related duties as required.
