Job summary

Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) seeks a custodian for Bruce McCandless Community Living Center. The role focuses on daily cleaning and sanitation of the facility, following the established 7-step Routine, and maintaining laundry and basic facility upkeep to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Minimum qualifications include 6 months' cleaning experience in a business, medical, or industrial setting. Will require full background checks and state residency.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience cleaning in a business, medical or industrial setting.
• Background checks required (full background check, CBI & FBI fingerprinting, and CAPS check).
• State of Colorado residency at time of application and throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and servicing of assigned work area per facility procedures using approved disinfectants and equipment (7-step Routine).
• Handle and process resident laundry and related facility linen; assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed.
