Job summary

Data-Mail Windsor, CT is seeking a reliable Janitor to cover AM and PM shifts in Windsor, CT. The role involves keeping the cafeteria, restrooms and outside grounds clean and orderly, with a 12-hour rotating night schedule (3-4 days weekly) to support operations at the Windsor location.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED and entails duties such as wiping tables, mopping floors, taking out trash, maintaining inventories, complying with company rules, and assisting with light snow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience maintaining inventory and reports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean cafeteria, wipe tables and counters, mop floors, and empty trash containers.
• Clean restrooms, mop floors, sinks, toilets, and replenish supplies.
• Maintain outside grounds, pickup trash, and manage entrances and parking areas.
• Vacuum mats and clean entrance glass in the lobby, empty upstairs/downstairs trash.
• Complete weekly/monthly cleaning projects and assist with light snow removal.
• Follow company rules, protect sensitive data, and seek cost/efficiency improvements.
• Keep supervisor informed of activities affecting goals and objectives.
