flyExclusive is seeking an entry-level Facilities Custodian in Kinston, NC to keep the campus clean and orderly. You will perform heavy cleaning tasks such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash, while reporting repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Facilities Custodian keeps the buildings on the Kinston campus in clean and orderly condition while performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash. Duties include performing routine cleaning activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and remove trash.
• Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as forklifts and floor scrubbers.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Assist with cleaning inventory and paperwork.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
• Perform other duties and or special projects as assigned by the customer service agent.
