Hudson Independent School Dist is seeking a Custodial Supervisor in Lufkin, Texas. This exempt role directs, coordinates, and monitors custodial services for all district facilities, establishing cleaning schedules and safe, efficient building operations.

The position reports to the Director of Maintenance and requires a high school diploma (or GED), a Texas driver’s license, and five years of custodial experience including two years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Texas driver's license required.
Knowledge of routine custodial practices and methods.
Knowledge of equipment, chemicals, and materials used in cleaning processes.
Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance.
Ability to manage personnel.
Effective planning and organizational skills.
Computer skills and ability to develop and maintain spreadsheets and use work order programs.
Five years experience in custodial services.
Two years custodial supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Establish and oversee schedules and procedures for the regular custodial care of all district facilities.
Work cooperatively with district staff to ensure safe, clean facilities.
