HES, a premier national facilities management provider focused on educational institutions, seeks a Custodial Supervisor in Blue Island, IL to lead daily custodial operations and safety program implementation.

The role requires custodial and supervisory experience, on-the-job training, and strong communication; you’ll supervise custodians, ensure quality and safety, coordinate with management, and mentor staff while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience.
• Custodial knowledge and safety awareness.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodians on a daily basis and manage work quality.
• Inspect assigned areas to meet service level standards.
• Discipline staff when needed and provide coaching.
• Provide on-the-job training including safety procedures.
• Coordinate major cleaning projects with management and staff.
• Assist in planning and safety initiatives for emergencies.
