Job Description
The Facilities / Chemical Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all chemical and hazardous waste management operations on site at a large industrial engine manufacturing facility. This role combines hands‑on work on the production floor with inventory control and logistics coordination, ensuring that chemicals, oils, and waste materials are safely received, stored, inspected, and shipped in accordance with client processes and regulatory requirements. Approximately 20% of the time is spent performing physical work and inspections on the floor, while about 80% is dedicated to computer‑based coordination, reporting, and inventory management.

Work Environment
This role is based fully on site at a large engine manufacturing facility, within a portion of the inventory management program dedicated to chemicals, oils, and waste materials. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the possibility of light overtime depending on operational demands. The work involves moving between office and industrial floor environments, spending about 20% of the time performing physical tasks and inspections on the floor and about 80% working at a computer. You will work around industrial equipment, storage yards, and waste handling areas, following established safety procedures and industrial safety programs. Dress code includes steel‑toed shoes, business casual attire, and long pants; shorts are not permitted.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
