Aerotek in Houston, TX is seeking a Production Technician for an onsite contract-to-hire role. The technician will assemble and test air leak detection and heater tube equipment, integrating electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components.

The Production Technician assembles and tests air leak detection and heater tube equipment that combines electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components. This role builds electromechanical sub-assemblies and finished products using blueprints, schematics, and documented work instructions, and ensures each unit meets defined quality and performance standards for use in applications such as medical devices, engines, and in-process manufacturing quality checks.

The role is based in an air‑conditioned electronics shop with a close‑knit team of about ten people in the division. You work at tabletop units and production fixtures, using electric and pneumatic hand tools, test equipment such as digital multimeters, and computer‑based software for calibration and ERP entry. The environment follows established safety policies and requires appropriate personal protective equipment. Standard hours are approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some flexibility depending on business needs. The setting is structured, clean, and process‑driven, providing a comfortable workspace focused on precision and quality.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
