Aston Carter is seeking a Facilities Coordinator for a 6- to 8-week contract in Pittsburgh, PA. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and includes parking cost coverage.

You will perform daily site walkthroughs, manage work orders, and coordinate amenities to maintain a safe, efficient office. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of facilities experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications

Job Description

This is a 6-8 week contract position with the working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role requires covering parking costs. Interviews will be conducted as per requirement.

Job Title

Facilities Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walkthroughs and site inspections to ensure a clean, organized, safe, and fully operational office environment.
• Respond to work orders promptly, scheduling and managing repairs, maintenance, and minor works to ensure compliance with KPIs.
• Coordinate the delivery of site amenities and services, including fitness, food services, events, meeting facilities, mail/courier services, and office moves.
• Provide clear direction and information to vendors, facilities staff, and other service providers to ensure seamless execution of onsite work.
• Assist in procuring vendors and maintain accurate site records, web pages, and official documentation.
• Support client relationship management by complying with all contract requirements, meeting performance indicators, and delivering exceptional service based on client feedback.
• Maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, after-hours emergency response, and adherence to environmental health and safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 0‑2 years of experience in facilities management, property management, hospitality, or related fields.
• Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements and critical facilities management.
• Basic understanding of technical property systems, including HVAC, chiller systems, fire protection, and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience or familiarity working with minor lab environments.
• Strong spreadsheet proficiency, particularly in Excel, and basic financial knowledge.
• Solid hospitality experience with a strong customer service orientation.

Work Environment

This role is based in an office environment requiring daily interaction with various technology platforms and systems. The position involves managing multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast‑paced setting. The dress code is professional attire.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
