Job summary

• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies and reorder as necessary.
• Monitor budgets and expenses while recommending cost-saving measures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure OSHA compliance and safety.
• Work with Safety Coordinator to implement safety protocols and maintain records.

Main purpose of the Facilities Coordinator role:

This is a full-time role for a candidate who will support and assist the facilities team in the responsibilities of making sure the buildings and their services meet the needs and safety of the employees that work in them across company offices, warehouses, and retail stores.

The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of building maintenance and repairs including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

The coordinator will work closely with vendors, contractors, landlord and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all facilities-related activities, including equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and space utilization.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Communicate with landlord, property management and neighboring business when needed.
• Coordinate with all vendors and stakeholders on service calls, network issues, estimates and repairs.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance repairs, safety concerns, and other building
• related issues.
• Maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies including reordering items as necessary.
• Monitor budgets and expenses while recommending cost-saving measures

Safety and Compliance:

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
• Work closely with the Safety Coordinator to implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the protection of employees and property. Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance activities.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• Construction, maintenance, and repair knowledge related to building and facility upkeep
• Familiarity with material handling equipment and conveyor systems
• Available to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to think proactively and drive tasks to completion

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in facilities management and/or operations
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Email, Excel and other related computer software
• Must be physically capable of working in conditions normally associated with a warehouse or distribution center such as warm and cold temperatures

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Email, Excel and other related computer software
  Ability to bend, lift, open and move product up to 35 lbs

This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range is $22 - $25.
