Job summary
Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Facilities Controls Engineer to join our team and advance PLC/SCADA development for our wafer fab environment in Dallas. You will design, implement, and troubleshoot industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and networking to ensure reliable 24/7 utility operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience with industrial controls and instrumentation systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot controls systems and instrumentation across facility processes.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs (hardware I/O modules) and PLC software.
- Program and troubleshoot SCADA systems for facility monitoring.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot secure industrial networks for PLC-SCADA communication.
- Assist with development and execution of controls scope in facility expansion and sustaining projects.
- Understand equipment and processes to optimize or maintain controls and instrumentation hardware/software.
- Provide technical controls support for 24-hour operations.
- Ensure projects and systems comply with applicable codes (NEC, IFC).
- Influence supplier performance via audits and field oversight.
- Develop relationships with engineers across TI sites to share best practices.
