Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in skilled building trades or maintenance work involving construction, maintenance, or repair of buildings, grounds, or utilities.
• Two years of supervising contractors in one of the listed fields.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience; substitutions allowed for college/technical training.

Responsibilities

• Inspects buildings, premises, and equipment to determine maintenance, construction, or renovation needs.
• Develops budgets and cost estimates for labor and materials; reviews plans and documents.
• Schedules and directs work of supervisory or contracted staff; ensures compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
