Position Summary: We are seeking a Project Manager in the New York, NY area to work with the federal government. The role involves providing construction project oversight, interpreting, organizing, coordinating, communicating, and executing project tasks. This position is not eligible for employer sponsorship except for TN visa classification.

The salary range is $125,000 - $155,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications.

Essential Skills and Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing Project Management Plans (PMP) for assigned projects
• Provide construction management oversight during all project phases
• Create and maintain project schedules
• Assist with preparing and updating cost estimates
• Assist in preparing project budgets
• Prepare reports and logs such as daily reports, cost to date, estimated cost to complete, submittals, RFIs, etc.
• Manage project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines

Required Skills:

• Must pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Experience:

• 10 years of experience managing vertical construction projects

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with chilled water plant upgrades in high-rise buildings
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field from an accredited program
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling, Primavera P6, and/or Microsoft Project
• OSHA Certification
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• Experience working with federal, city, county, and state agencies
• Knowledge of construction testing, inspection, and commissioning

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in both office and field environments, with field work comprising approximately 5% to 95%. Field activities may involve climbing, walking, standing, and exposure to various weather conditions. Some lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.
