Job summary

CRV Electronics Corporation is looking for a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly manufacturing facility in Spring Grove, IL. The role reports to the Manufacturing Services Supervisor and involves routine cleaning, supplies replenishment, and light maintenance tasks.

Ideal candidates have janitorial experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently with attention to detail. The position offers competitive hourly pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping roles is preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet occasional time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Follow all work rules, safety guidelines, and procedures.
• Clean and maintain assigned areas including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Stock washrooms and replenish supplies.
• Clean company vehicles as assigned.
• Remove cardboard and debris to keep the facility orderly.
• Maintain outdoor areas by shoveling, salting entrances, and litter pickup.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Other related duties to support facility maintenance.
