Job summary

GESMV is seeking a detail-oriented janitorial associate to clean assigned areas in commercial and government facilities to an acceptable quality level. The role requires working knowledge of janitorial terms and the ability to perform tasks within established time standards.

Responsibilities include performing dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom sanitization, floor care, and occasional cleaning of computer rooms and surfaces, while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements including

Qualifications

Ability to read and identify chemical labels on containers.
Experience with proper use of janitorial chemicals and mechanical equipment.
Must pass criminal background check and random drug screens.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.

Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing high/low dusting, vacuuming, and trash disposal.
Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures to meet high health and safety standards.
Floor Care: Perform dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, scrubbing, and carpet spot cleaning.
Specialized Cleaning: Clean computer rooms, glass surfaces, and polish furniture, chrome, and stainless steel.
Compliance: Adhere to all Agency policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsincluding CARF, OSHA, and the Department of Labor.
