Job summary

GESMV is seeking a diligent janitorial staff member to clean assigned areas in commercial and government facilities. You will perform high/low dusting, vacuuming, trash disposal, and restroom sanitization to achieve established quality levels.

The role requires knowledge of janitorial chemistry and equipment, the ability to pass background checks, and reliable transportation to multiple work sites. Opportunities exist to contribute to a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and identify chemical labels on containers.
• Experience with proper use of janitorial chemicals and mechanical equipment.
• Must pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean environment by performing high/low dusting, vacuuming, and trash disposal.
• Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures to meet high health and safety standards.
• Perform dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, scrubbing, and carpet spot cleaning.
• Clean computer rooms, glass surfaces, and polish furniture, chrome, and stainless steel.
• Adhere to all Agency policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements including CARF, OSHA, and the Department of Labor.
• Maintain performance standards subject to inspection by government officials.
• Assist with bailing cardboard, returning empty skids, and cleaning spills in stocking aisles as required.
