Job summary

GESMV in the United States is seeking a diligent janitor to clean assigned areas in commercial and government facilities to an acceptable level of quality. You will follow established time standards and use janitorial chemicals and equipment safely.

You will perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitization, and waste removal, comply with CARF, OSHA, and labor regulations, and help maintain a safe, orderly environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and identify chemical labels on containers.
• Experience with proper use of janitorial chemicals and mechanical equipment.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing high/low dusting, vacuuming, and emptying trash.
• Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures to meet high health and safety standards.
• Perform dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, scrubbing, and carpet spot cleaning.
• Clean computer rooms, glass surfaces, and polish furniture, chrome, and stainless steel.
• Adhere to all Agency policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements including CARF, OSHA, and the Department of Labor.
• Maintain performance standards subject to inspection by government officials.
• Assist with bailing cardboard, returning empty skids, and cleaning spills in stocking aisles as required.
