Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Lower South Carolina (Palmetto Goodwill) is seeking a Janitor to maintain clean and orderly working areas and washrooms, including offices and common spaces. You will perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and routine maintenance to keep facilities presentable and safe.

The role requires following MSDS guidelines, lifting up to 50 pounds, and obtaining security clearance as required by the contract. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by the contract.

Responsibilities

• Follow MSDS guidelines when using chemicals.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, and sinks.
• Sweep and mop floors with disinfectant cleaner; refill dispensers.
• Clean mirrors and wipe walls to remove stains.
• Buff and wax floors as needed; strip and re-wax.
• Dust, vacuum, and clean offices and waiting areas.
• Handle spills and general cleaning of equipment and fixtures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
